REFERRAL FEE EXAMPLE:
You refer a client that buys a home for $200,000. The commission on the house is 6% which is 3% for the listing and 3% for the sale. You referred the buyer, so you have a portion of the 3% sale commission.
$200,000 sales price x 3% = $6,000 (total sale side of commission)
The referral fee agreement that was made here was 25%. So 25% of $6,000 = $1,500. That is your commission.
The Agent Referral Center receives a $100 administrative fee.
$1,500 - $100 = $1,400 That is the Referral Commission you will receive.
